Martin Choinière is a debut fantasy author based in Montreal, Canada. His novel THE GATE is a dark high fantasy epic born from decades of tabletop RPG storytelling with friends — a world built session by session long before it became a book. Martin has been crafting magic systems and fantasy settings since his teenage years, drawn to intricate plots, morally complex characters, and darker tones. THE GATE follows a band of retired adventurers pulled back into one last fight when an old friend's wife is kidnapped — a mission that unravels into something far larger than any of them expected. He writes and publishes bilingually, in both English and French.
